OSYLIA London is a new established jewellery brand focuses on bringing together contemporary forms with distinctive and inspirational designs. Founded as a start up in 2017 by two eclectic designers coming from different culture, OSYLIA takes advantage from this diversity. The vision behind all the collections is the combination of art and design, working on simple geometry to create minimal and elegant pieces.
The client wanted for us to create a minimalistic branding something not invasive or colourful, a canvas that could work as a background frame, leaving the focus on the jewels. We decided to introduce the fashion illustrations as models for the jewels, in order to let each piece being the main character.
The brand identity captures OSYLIA concept with simple typography and the use of the only black and white. For the logotype, we decided to use a minimal and very slim font, customizing it removing all the excess of lines, to create a logo elegant and polished. The identity’s understated elegance extends to applications, which employ a clean aesthetic and the use of only one graphic element, a black triangle. We have worked with primary elements, using simple lines and removing the unnecessary. The two opposite colors, black and white, represent the two different identities and cultures behind the brand.
